Board Certified Family Medicine
Luke Nelligan D.O. graduated from Ursinus College in 1985 with a B.S. in Biology. After teaching science in prep school and Villanova University, as a graduate student, Dr. Nelligan attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1987 to 1991. He interned at the Hospital of PCOM, where he was a chief intern. He completed his residency at Graduate City Avenue Hospital, and became Board Certified in 1994. After two years of working for Ancilla Healthcare in Mishawaka, Dr. Nelligan ran Speedway Family Physicians from 1996 to1999, teaching residents and students. In 2000, Dr. Nelligan entered private practice, and has a solo practice in Zionsville, Indiana.
Dr. Nelligan is active in the Indiana Osteopathic Association, where he has served as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Chairman of the Legislative Committee. He currently chairs the Steering Committee for an Osteopathic medical school in the state. Dr. Nelligan received the Kinsinger Award and the Outstanding Young D.O Award from the IOA. He presently serves as Director of Medical Education at Westview, and is the Medical Director for Odyssey Healthcare in Indianapolis, a hospice corporation.
